I am down with you. I beat the first one and never played the 2nd one. Alien games in general suck.
Ghost Recon and Call of Duty 3 are better and dont get half the fanfare.

the halo games are sweet as hell because you can play online with other players and if you know them its even better..
you probably dont like them because you have no friends and youve never played any online games that are challenging and compelling.. i say get some friends and start playing because youre missing out

I cant say anything about Halo 2 or 3. But when I was at my uncle's house, I played the first one. It wasnt as great as people were saying it was. It was VERY Cartoonish. Easy and just not that great.

Sounds like sour grapes from someone who sucks at the game and keeps losing.
They're challenging, innovative, and have a compelling back story. Not to mention an @ss-kicking soundtrack.

the halo series didnt really changed the whole fps franchise, it revolutionized it. it has great graphics, amazing multiplayer, a very comfertable controls setup, and a deep storyline with its own set of books ( i think there's like 4 halo novels and 1 graphic novel). im a huge fan of halo...

They suck, but you should watch Red vs. Blue. It makes fun of the games and its hilarious!!!
