Only Rayz has brains, it seems... L - lights - are usually from .09 - .46 while regulars might be .10 - .52 or so, each manufacturer has different gauges. BTW, I wouldn't buy Fender strings, go for Ernie Ball or D'Addario. Generally, the thiker the strings (greater gauge), the fuller & stronger sound, but harder on the fingers, so find your optimum.

Like the other answer said - "bullets" have the bullet shaped end to make a more solid contact with Strat tremolos. The numbers indicate the quality of the nickel. The "original" 150 is the first type Fender made in the 50's & 60's. The 250's and 350's have more nickel, so they are supposed to be brighter longer.

"L" stands for light and "R" is regular gage.....look at the individual string size "gage" and mix and match to find your own style-that is what jazz guitar players do!!!

R is for right handed
