i typed ctrl+shift+c and then boolProp testingCheatsEnabledtrue
and a window came up. i typed in the codes i had and nothing happened. and also how do you press clear on a laptop to get that window off the screen but leaving the cheats in effect?

I think it has to be BoolProp Testingcheatsenabled true, not what you put. That's what worked for me anyway. And to get rid of the ctrl+shift+c window thing, just type exit and press enter. Good luck with your Sims! lol

Unlike the console versions, the sims 2 on PC doesn't make any indication when you enter the right cheat. when you are in the cheats screen, if you want to exit, either press esc or type in "exit". If there is still no results, double check and triple check your spelling (the cheats are case sensitive remember, and you can use the space bar when required) and if not, i found this an excellent site for cheats: www.gamefaqs.com ... just go to the search bar, type in the sims 2, choose PC, go to codes and you're there. hope i helped!

You are doing it right, you just need a space between the "true" and the rest of it. Like this:
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. I use no caps.

dont know why your cheats arent working, but to get rid of the box just type exit and hit enter.

well to enter it all you have to do is just hit ctrl+ shift+ c then to exit the box just type exit!
