life is unfair becasue almost noone retains "i must be fair to everyone". thos that do feel hosed because theyre the only ones f their kind. also parents get really angry when schools dont teach kids sharing and fairness for them.

How do you know that life isnt fair? We have no clue what really happens after people die. We have no clue what the end result of our actions are. We have no clue as to what tomorrow will bring for us so we have no way to say whats fair and unfair unless we close our minds off from the bigger picture and look only at the small. A closed mind makes for small thinking and small thinking leads to bigger mistakes imo...

People are a part of life...unless you're a hermit, so if we're unfair to each other, it makes life even more unfair. I guess we are just trying to do the right thing in a world that seem cock-eyed.

The world is unfair because we are taking out our angst of having to be fair all the time. We are individuals conflicting with what is supposed to the ideals of unified society.

The question is absurd. They teach honesty, to not cheat for yourself when the rules are for all; the cheating invalidates all human values and defames those whose beliefs you represent. Life itself is what it is as the creation it is, but the cheating people occupy the highest positions in human existence. They make the rules, made the rules or sustain them.
To your own self be true. The Judgment is negative, the Will is positive.
I agree with numbe one; we are changing the world, and trying positively.

Fairness is only a judgement call, we teach our children about Santa only to fullfil our needs. The truth hurts, just like child-birth.Fair only describes weather, fall festivals, and complextions.

Because every little bit counts.
Famous story: a man walking along a beach saw that dozens of starfish had been stranded on shore by the tide, slowly drying out and dying. A little boy was collecting them and throwing them back into the sea.
The man stopped the boy and told him, "Don't you realize that there are hundreds of starfish here? You'll never save them all. And there are thousands of beaches around the world. You can't make a difference, so why try?"
"I made a difference with this one," he said, and threw a starfish into the sea.
