Let him know as gently and tactfully as you can.
If you do not tell him, he will continue to think that he has a chance and you will continue to boil inside.
Have an open, honest chat with him and let him know that while you like him as a friend but you do not have romantic feelings for him and, although you do not want to hurt him, you do not want to mislead him either.
Let him know that you value his friendship but you can understand if he needs to take leave if he feels hurt. Do not put him down and do not make this talk known to others. It should be just between the two of you.

Tell him that you just want to be friends and if he cant live with that then it is soooooooo not worth it to be friends even if you really still really want to be friends. I know this may sound harsh but I have been there and done that so take my advice

okay im in this situation right now. whatever you do, dont stop being friends with him. dont ignore him just because you know he likes you. it ruins everythingg. rightt now, i dont know exactly what to say. try to keep the friendship going and let him know your not interested. in a very nice way. good luck.

nothing. unless you still have some leftover feelings for him. you have to loo into your heart, and see if you still do like him. and if you don't, just keep on being his friend. let him know that you really love him, as a friend, and you do not whant his 'liking' you to affect your friendship.

are you sure you dont like him anymore?? if you are, talk to him,, after all,,, he is your best guyfriend,, being honest with him from the very beginning will makes things easier for the both of you,,,

personally, if he was a really good friend imight try to stay incontace with him but if he couldnt handle us being friends and only friends, i would have to cut him lose.
