You can however:
Alcohol tends to iritate the skin and can make maters much worse
The best solution i found was toothpaste. It really does work for some amazing reason.
Regular washing of the face with cold water can help as well.
Also try no to touch or interfer with affected areas.
Creams can be brought over the counter i.e proactive
Pescription can be offered as well

Yes of coarse you can, However rubbing alcohol will make your skin extremely dry and I am not kidding. It will defiantly work though. I recommend that if you use it only use it once or twice a week but not for a long period of time at the most only two weeks. You can use it as a temporary solution just until you can get an actual medicated cream or/ others. I would recommend oxy action power pads and they are inexpensive and work great. I don't have acne but i will use it about once or twice every two weeks. And I only use it for keeping my skin clear and to get off any dead skin I don't want. It leaves a fresh feeling and smells good. But if you have acne lots then you will defiantly need to use it more.

Don't know about alcohol but green tea is supposed to be really good for acne. Doesn't taste the best though. If you are going to try a product that you can use in the shops i would stay away from Witch products. Have heard a lot of people say that it made there skin worse.

I wouldnt recommend alcohol as you acne might pop up due to dryness of your skin and alcohol only dries your skin out even more, besides, it's too strong and you shouldn't irritate a pimple like that. Here are some natural yet effective methods you can take a look: http://www.beauty-tricks.com/beautyforum/viewtopic.php?t=8

Yes it will irritate but it works..... I lived by alcohol wipes as a teen.... but I recommended never use it on open or already expose acne.... because it will hurt like a mother! Every night I would use the wipes first and then wash my face.... and if i noticed it was drying up i would use a non oil based face lotion. But everyone's face is different!
Good luck!

Alcohol is too irritating. It will dry up your skin, yes, but when your skin gets too dry, your glands will produce even more oil than it did before, ultimately making you break out even more.
Toothpaste works, if you don't have any other option.
I use tea tree oil. You can get it at any health food store. It's a little expensive, but it'll last you a long time. Take a q-tip and run it over hot water. Dip it in the tea tree oil and dab it on affected areas.
You must dilute it though, it is quite strong.
Also, check out Murad. You can get it at Sephora.com. It works wonders!

Alcohol is very drying. Use a toner instead. Or buy a liquid called
Witch Hazel and use that. It will give you similar properties of alcohol without the drying.

No, As long as you use a cleanser twice a day plus a moisturizer special for oily skin. Use it faithfully and your skin should clear up in a week or two. Try the cleansing bar from Mary Kay, it's not just for woman, men use it too. We also have a moisturizer especially for men.

my personal opinion would be no..i dont have acne that bad but ii use the face wash like evrey day and i use shea butter and i also use hydrating lotion. it helps for me so you could start by using that and if it doesnt help then i would refer to getting pro-active but i would try the home stuff first before i go and spend money on that stuff. it takes time for it to work maybe like 3 months you'll get a full recovery and your skin will clear up

You can use alcohol but it is a bit strong to use on your face. Why don't you get a teatree oil face wash and some tea tree oil and use these instead
