all the time. I find myself thinking out loud. It's really bad when I say things like that shirt doesn't go with your pants to a customer in the retail store that I work at. oops.. the truth hurts sometimes

Yes....and it would not be so annoying if I could anticipate this or control it in the slightest.
On occasion I attract women--as in getting what in retrospect seems like friendly casual attention--without even realizing it. This usually happens though when either a) I am having an "ugly day" and feeling self-conscious, or b) I am busy shopping or doing something where I have to think and plan things out.
In other words, either I'm feeling too shy, bashful, just plain *plain-looking* to act on it, or I am pre-occupied and don't really notice, "Hey, she was trying to make eye contact with me", kinds of things until *well after* I get home.
And I don't do this on purpose! D'ohh...I just wish I knew what I was doing right and had the confidence to take advantage of it.
It's like some sort of animal magnetism (on rare occasion I have deliberately used it, but only to like repel dogs and such) but I don't have the guts to make it work out for people. D'ohhh....

More often than I care to admit. There are those things that I do more out of habit than anything else. My signifigant other has been known to ask me "Didn't you just smoke a cigarette?" And after thinking about it, I realize that I did, but it's just so much a habit that I didn't even realize I'd done it. Another thing is peeling the wall paper by the phone in the kitchen. That whole area is just about destroyed and I didn't notice it until recently.

Sometimes I space out when I am driving, and when I arrive at my destination I don't even remember all the traffic details of getting there. Makes you wonder how you made it home, all of the turns and streets you go down and you don't even realize it.

I'm old, honey, so don't get me started! Anything that one does routinely that doesn't require much thought is what people often do automatically/without realizing it. It is only bad when you drive somewhere and don't know how you got there, or wake up with somebody unfamiliar, or don't have any money left and don't know why. Telling my kids what to do over and over doesn't bother me much, I don't know about them.....

I think alot of knowledge is buried in the subconscious and when needed the human mind brings it to the forefront as something we previously learned. Of course I've had deja vu' of having something happen that I've thought I experience already.
