I have been bleeding some- (more like spotting) for several days now. I am cramping, and my breasts feel like they are going to explode! I am 8 weeks along and I hurt all the time. I know that the spotting could be normal but I would really like to know if I had one!

Any bleeding should be reported to your health care provider immediately. Especially accompanied with cramping. If you cannot get in touch go to your local emergency room as soon as possible to get checked out.

At 5 weeks I was like that. I had cramps and spotting. They did a sonogram and said things looked ok thus far. If the pain and cramps get really bad then it could be a miscarriage. If they are mild I don't necessarily think that's what's going on. Lets just say that I'm 37 weeks now and I have had menstal like cramps day in and day out the ENTIRE pregnancy. I've had five sonograms and everything is ok and the baby is healthy so I guess it's just the way my body is for this pregnancy. I think though if you were having a miscarriage you'd be having a lot of unbareable pain and bleeding (not spotting) and passing clots. Call the doctor and express your concern and see what they have to say. Sounds like what I went through and like I said I'm three weeks away from delivery and turned out ok. Good luck to yoU!

Spotting can be normal in the first trimester due to the cervix being sensative and everything going on inside you. If its brown blood there are no worries, but if its bright red or pink you need to call your dr. Bleeding/spotting for long periods of time does not mean a miscarriage...some women have full on periods for the first 3-4mths of their pregnancies and baby is fine!
Your breast pain is normal...that will go on throughout your pregnancy, so thats a good sign that pregnancy symptoms are continuing/progressing.
Call your dr in the morning for an appt, tell him about the bleeding...and to ease your mind go take one more pregnancy test!

I have had a couple of miscarriages, and they both started off with spotting, but when the actual miscarriage happened I poured the blood....And it was very painful..Go to the doctor right away and find out for sure...

After going through miscarriages myself, I would say that you should see your healthcare professional ASAP. You are not necessarily having a miscarriage. I had some spotting during my last pregnancy and I had a beautiful baby. I wish you the best.

Sounds like a possibility. But don't freak out yet. Go to your doctor and he can tell you for sure. If you did miscarry, they may want to do a d and c procedure to make sure everything gets flushed out.
