Codeine has been approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Drugs for use in the nursing mother.

Best of luck to you, take care.

i breastfed my oldest boy and i was given a perscrtion for just straight codiene because of migraines. i cant see that tylenol with codiene would be worse than that since there is little codiene in it but i suggest you talk to your dr before you take it too often

Talk to your dr. If it is perscribed, it should be safe, but if you don't have a perscription...you wouldn't have it, right? Make sure that your doc knows your breastfeeding when you call and check.

i was prescribed codeine while pregnant so it's likely safe, as long as the Dr prescribing knew you were pregnant it should be fine.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist and don't trust any yes or no answers from here.

That is what they gave me in the hospital when I was breastfeeding to help with the uterine cramps so I would have to say that it is okay.
