Yes i have seen a few ghosts over the years.
from a young age of 7-9 and in my teenage years 18-19
also in my mid 20s.

I dont think you could put it down to just imagination.
Even in my early thirties i had spirits hauntings in a house i rented

So yes there are such things as ghosts.
Some people only believe if they see them i guess.

Hi
I believe in the spirit world and have had lots of experiences when they have made contact. Spirits are energy, and energy cant die. There is no such thi ng as ghosts the ooooohhh kind in a white sheet - thats just made up by Holly Wood but the spirit world and after life thats real.

Spirits can contact people they care about and let them know that they are around them without the use of a medium, they can do this by:

Lights: Many times some people can experience flickering of lights in the room, or new light bulbs burn out instantly. More often than not your lights are effected when a spirit spends a lot of time around you or when they want to get your attention.

T.V: Spirits have been known to effectively scramble pictures on the tv set.

Radios: Many clock radios next to loved ones' bed will turn on at different hours, sometimes it is the hour that has some importance to the person who has passed away. Many times a radio with go on when a particularly significant song is on the air.

Music: many times in their own way spirits are able to impress you with a song or you may think about them when a song is played on the radio.

Clocks: A clock will stop at the exact moment the person has passed over or a clock or watch will stop working for no reason.

Telephones and answering machines: After someone dies it is possible to recieve a phone call and no one is on the other side, or you could hear the voice of the person . in some cases it has been recorded.

Appliances: Appliances have been know to stop or start working at different times when no one is around them.

Other signs are smells or the scent of the person, a favourite perfume, gifts are another sign, a spirit sends gifts and material items but we do not connect that they are from loved ones. Spirits can impress us to buy things or go to shops where things we like are there and we buy them. Animals are also used by the spirit . Many times a spirit being can influence a bird or small animal to come by us to get our attention in some way.

Ghosties and ghoulies and things that go bump in the night?
Nope.

The mediums (or possibly smalls) are people who take advantage of the gullible and put on a good act.
Most of the statements they give are fairly ambiguous.
As for the 'spirits' themselves - my mind is, to be honest, open.
It has been scientifically proved that life cannot exist in the present state. The mysterious 'spark' cannot be measured or replicated.
Yet it exists!
When a sentient being dies, the 'shells' stops working. What happens to the intellect and consciousness?
Again scientists have proved that energy can only change its form, it cannot simply stop.
Therefore the electricity (for want of a better word) cannot 'stop' like the body.
It changes somehow, but into what?
A spirit form of the living body? Perhaps.
Who knows, maybe the Northern lights aren't really the suns rays affected by a magnetic field, maybe it is the accumulated spirits of all the deceased through the ages!

There will always be unexplained happenings throughout the world. If there was nothing to 'find out', the human race would stagnate and begin to die off.

The first person to obtain actual physical proof of the existence will be ridiculed because nobody will believe it.
Me? What do I believe?
I believe that 'something' remains and exists beyond the death of the body BUT that it in some way becomes part of the Earth and doesn't wander around rattling chains and trying to possess Derek Acorah!

As for the fun side......
Take a look at this and turn up the volume to listen carefully!!

I almost laughed my *rse off!

I believe "ghosts" are an imaginative hallucination of memories or knowledge about a place or thing. If you told an average person to spend 4 hours in a house that looked completely normal, he would go through it fine. If you told another average person that a family died in there, his mind would be focusing on the death(s) in the area which can lead to seeing/hearing a ghost

"I do believe in spooks, I do I do I do!!!"
-- The Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz"

I do. I have never seen one. I have sensed their presence, heard noises without explanation, smelled perfume and cigarette smoke where there was none (but were reminiscent of people I knew who passed over), and even, when thinking deeply about a beloved deceased relative, felt a comforting hand on my shoulder as my husband said, "Someone's here."

I believe the spirit of my favorite aunt watches over me. I have not seen her, but on three different occasions years and years apart, three different people (my brother, aged 4, a boyfriend, and my husband) saw and described my aunt near me as I slept, without knowing about the other sightings or (in the latter two cases) ever having met her or knowing what she looked like. My brother, the first, is really the most reliable, he just matter of factly told me one morning that he saw "Momo" in my room the night before.

How to explain this without the presence of a spirit world? I'm not a touchy-feely hippie, but I've had these experiences.

PS -- The answerer below is eeeeeeeeeeeevil! You got me! ROFLMAO

I believe in spirits...not sure if you consider that a ghost.

Photos have been taken where the photographer didn't know anything was there until the photo was developed. Too strange to just ignore.

I don't think people without imagination can feel them. They are not open to anything but what is apparent to the naked eye. People who are in focus with more of their brain potential are more apt to feel them.

I believe in that stuff, and I believe people when they say they've seen a ghost so you could say in a short answer I'm saying yes.
