I believe in sex before marriage. I'm now married but I had both of my kids before we got married.
I guess I look at it this way do you just buy a car right of the lot without test driving it? (If you do your a fool.) Why would you marry someone without testing things (not just sex) out first?
I had sex for the first time when I was 16. Too young in my opinion now but then I just wanted it (lack of willpower on my part but live and learn). I think 20 is a good age to have sex for the first time, but it is all up to you. If you want to abstain until marriage good for you, if you want to have sex before you are married then make sure your really ready for it including the possiblity of having children (because birth control doesn't always work) and being emotionally ready. I dont believe in sex without commitment though.
Good luck and I hope this helps!

Well, you didn't mention how old you are, so I tread lightly here. I don't think too many people hold out for marriage anymore, none the less it is still a good thing to do. There are so many diseases out there now, and unwanted pregnancies only because for the most part they aren't really prepared or ready. No one can make that choice for you. Only you know will know when the time is right. Just keep in mind of the dangers and always protect yourself as well as your partner. And for what its worth, being with someone that you really care about is just as important.
Good Luck.

Well, I lost my virginity at 19--not 12. Due to lots of rejection and verbal abuse, I've had trust issues, I get nervous easily. I would've hated to have trembled on my wedding night---which hasn't transpired---the way I did with boyfriend #1.
I had 12 years---first to twelveth of intense ridicule---and am still dealing with the aftermath despite it having ending 20 years ago. I have come a long way. Kids don't realize that while they go their merry way, the victim is picking up the peices years later. However, it wasn't just classmates who picked on me; was so-called family as well.
I will never fathom what is so funny about a child's disabilities.

I think people have the right to do what they want. I can't say an appropriate age...they just should be mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared and also ready to take care of a baby in case they get pregnant. If you're not sure then you should wait. Don't go on what other people say--listen to your instincts.

I don't consider it a belief. It is a choice that you make. I did choose sex before marriage because I was young and in love and I felt as though it was the right thing for me to do at the time. I don't regret any of the choices I made, but you have to make your own decisions.

When I was 19 I fell in love and wanted to marry this guy. We had sex and this relationship went on for years. He didn't want to marry, didn't treat me well, and it messed me up. I gave my life back to God. I told Abba Dadddeee that if He wanted me to get married, He would have to show me who cuz I didn't want to date. Four years later He introduced me to my hubby. We both knew it was God putting us together and became engaged right away. We were married a year later and did not have sex until our wedding night. We have no regrets. Having sex before marriage just sets you up for heartache.
