I found alot about "selling my invention." Do I have literaly buid it myself to maintain the right to sell it? Or are there people who will buuld the product based on design? What key phrases are best to you when using the google search to find infiormaition and links for inventors?

what you're describing is basic "outsourcing", somebody building your product to your preset specifications and/or schematics. Not knowing what your invention is, I would be pressed to come up with key words or phrases, I would try to keep it close to the product or what it does or is supposed to do.
Be careful of people who will want to scam your idea out from under you (i.e. selling your invention) and any person or company that offers to help you get a patent for a fee

I think what you are looking for is Fabricators. They makes things to your specifications for use as proto types.
I would stay away from anything scammy.
