Are you asking us what is cool to listen to?

Have you ever heard of King Crimson? Court of the Crimson King-- It's good progressive music.

Try some Moody Blues--Start off with nights in white Satin, and 'the voice" and "the story in your eyes" and "tuesday afternoon"....

I agree with the other guy about the band "YES" and maybe you might like some Genesis.

I'm just saying, rock is good, and it took some interesting progressive paths in the 60s, 70s and 80's .

Look into it.

Get Anjani Thomas' Blue Alert CD. It is amazing. Who's Anjani Thomas you ask? I didn't know either until I got Blue Alert as a freebie with a BMG order. She really is incredible. And she even answers email, even more amazing! She has four songs on her myspace page you can sample.

Blue Alert by Anjani Thomas. Get it!

buy "the black parade" by my chemical romance, this is the most amazing cd i have ever heard, i can listen to the whole thing without skipping a song, every song is great, MCR is a punkrock or alternative band, they are NOT emo as some people think ...good luck ( p.s. )the black parade is a concept album, people say its what would happen if Queen and The Beatles had a child
