If it's true love, you'll want to do the right thing and leave him alone.
True love will outweigh your desire to be with him and put both of you and any potential children you have in a very difficult and precarious situation that could possibly ruin your lives. It may also destroy your families' relationships due to the inevitable conflict you will both create by persuing such an illicit relationship.
My guess is it's more of a crush, than it is true love... I do applaud you for seeking advice.

no you dont need to be with your cousin and if your cousin likes you bestfriend let them be quit being jelouse he your family not some one you can go out with get over it stay with your boyfriend.

i think you might freak her out personally if my cousin came to me and told me that they had feeling for me no matter how close we were or even if we didnt act like family it would still be incredibly weird i think you might make things even more ackward. i know its hard when you really have feelings for someone but i honestly cant see this going the way you want it too. i would keep it to yourself but if you really think you HAVE to tell her then tell her good luck

Um... I aint no rocket scientist, but its probably better for everyone if you dont ask your cousin out. You should try and find someone not in your family to hang out with... just my opinion

I see a lot of people talking about deformed children it raise's the deformity rate for 2.7 to 4 percent you have a 96 percent chance of having a healthy baby in 1940 it is a known fact that 80 percent of couples where second cousins and 20 where first cousins in the bible has no word against it in fact Christ earthly parents where first cousins and many of the the people in the bible where told to have there children or even them lay with there cousin the risk of child deformity is only high when both side's have a onset gene in there body witch that happening is little to none it is legal in 17 states in the us to marry or sleep with you're cousin also if you live in a state that dosent allow it you may have the wedding in the states that do and move back after it is still legal at that point to wrap it up the heart want what it wants and anyne who tells you different is to insecure or misinformed to guide you
