jhonny depp is funny but orlando bloom is sooooooooo sexy so i have to say orlando bloom.

Johnny Depp, hands down.
Johnny Depp has talent. When he is in a movie, he IS the movie. Without Johnny Depp in any given movie, the movie would not be the same. Depp has managed to become a respectable adult actor without being labeled as a poster boy. He has years of experience, experience that Bloom can only dream about.
This is not even a question that should be asked. Johnny Depp is much better than Orlando Bloom.
Looks come and go, but talent stays forever. Johnny has the talent. For whatever reason, some people seem to think Orlando has good looks but even if that should be the case, they're only temporary. And they will by no means suffice.
Please, anyone who thinks Orlando Bloom is better than Johnny Depp, save yourself the embarrassment. Go see some decent Johnny Depp movies. My personal favourite is Benny & Joon.
Edit: I absolutely love how all the answers which state the obvious, namely that Johnny Depp is better, have been given a thumbs down.

Orlando Bloom because he is cuter. But Johnny Depp is a more convincing actor. But he doesn't have Orlando's looks.

looks, Orlando because he's younger and Johnny is getting older. Aw what the hell, they both are hott!
Johnny is defnitely more talented. I don't think Orlando would dare to play some of the roles Johnny has, and wouldn'y be able to pull them off.
