In order to live life to the fullest and be happy. Look at the bright side of life. Do not be so hung up on material possesssions. Life is what you make it. Try to maintain a sense of humor. And share and live life with somebody special. or with the one you truly love. Sometimes your greatest enemy is yourself. So chill out. Go with the flow.

Stress can be a real killer. That's why I look young for my age. Pragmatism is my game. Fun is my name. Laughter is my med. My guiding principles in life: "Live and let live. And to thine ownself be true."

Dealing with stocks can be real nerve wracking. I have learned to stop and smell the roses. Money is inconsequential to me. But it's very hard to find a woman who wants to go out with a man without money.

These are the three things I look for in a man. He has to be good in bed. A great lover. He has to be handy around the house. And of course, the money issue or a good job. I also work. So I expect him to pull his own weight.

If there is mutual respect and love in a relationship; everything else will fall into place.
I'm so fortunate. I'm happy; because I found the love of my life. I met him thru the internet dating site.

Be patient . You will find your life partner too.

This is a great question for someone who's depressed for this first time ever in their lives. Happiness. What can I say. I'm 18. I'm a pagent queen. I have a perfect body. I have more guy friends than anyone could want. I have no complaint about my physic.I'm currently taking a year off before starting college. I don't work. I sleep the majority of the day. I lost all of my friends through a long list of unforseen and unexpected events. I'm on my way to becoming a size 0 because I don't have the will to eat (I'm a 3 right now and my pants aren't fitting anymore). I have a non-existent relationship with someone who likes me but doesn't have the courage to do anything about it. So, what am I doing to achieve happiness? (sigh) Happiness. What a funny word. Nothing but letters bunched together to make a meaning which no one and everyone has either an answer for it or none at all. I'm trying my best to put a big smile on for everyone. As long as everyone figures that I'm happy. I have no complains. Why make them sad simply b/c I am? Because after all, isn't happiness/love the thing that every soul searches for? Isn't that the ultimate desire of every person on earth? I'm not doing a good job at finding it, and I don't want it b/c with my luck, it won't last, and I'll be left with nothing but an empty heart. So I wish you the best of luck in your search of it. Remember this much "If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; If we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome." Good luck.

Health insurance. We moved back to California after being in Holland(The Netherlands) for 9 years. I have been unable to get health insurance for silly reasons set up by Medicare, and my Dutch husband can't get insurance because he is a Dutch immigrant (legal). We have tried since June 6, 2006 and get refused for various reasons..the insurance company doesn't want to send to Europe for medical records; they aren't sure how healthy we are, etc. There was an article recently in the LA Times about this, and it is so frightening. I've found a clinic that will treat us for little things, but if we have a catastrophic illness, I lose my house. I'm so scared, and sad that the USA that I love has such poor medical coverage. The Netherlands covered me for anything, including 2 operations, and we paid only 100 Euro a month. Happiness right now to me is knowing I don't have to worry about getting me sick; the worry is making me sick. Catch 22, isn't it? Other than that, my happiness comes from having a family who are healthy and able to eat every day, work every day, and enjoy their own families. Family is happiness, even if we have differences of opinions.

I would need Friends and a Great outlook on life!
I'm going to school and going into a career that I like and I'm looking at things from a different angle that I used to and now I feel happier!

But money can't buy happiness nor can a mate...you have to be Happy in and of itself right here right now otherwise, when you get money...it won't be enough and mate cannot make fulfill you either!

What you need to be happy is a determination to be happy. Happiness is not something that happens by chance, luck or God's will. Happiness is something that you MUST consciously decide on.

So, how do you go about making decisions on happiness? Well, you have to know yourself VERY well. You have to know who you are and what makes you tick. Once you determine who you are, you can clearly direct your life in ways that will lead to your happiness, based on your knowledge of yourself.

How do you learn about yourself? You can make an effort to become more aware of yourself, study yourself, your likes, dislikes, the things that naturally bring you joy and those that get you peeved.

Happiness doesn't just land at your doorstep on some random day, it is something consciously chosen by you (when you are ready for it, of course).

I need to make my husband as comfortable as possible and as much as I can take away his fear. If I could cure his cancer that would make me deliriously happy, but now we have to be content with small blessings.
