Will I like The Decemberists?

I like bands like Radiohead, XTC, Gomez, and Starsailor. If you think I will like The Decemberists, which album should I get?

Although The Decemberists can be said to have a different sound than those bands you've listed, as you seem to be a fan of what can be called "indie rock", you'll enjoy The Decemberists wordy and smart lyrics. I suggest you try The Crane Wife first, their most accessible album. Hope you enjoy them.
