I just saw this movie yesterday and it was really, really good. I would definitely recommend this flick.

Yes, it's dark but I think the premise of the movie was very interesting and relevant to things that are going on in our society right now.

And it doesn't tie everything up in a pretty red bow at the end, which I can appreciate and I think it fits the film. But it is hopeful.

well, it was very violent and had a ton of language in it...but it IS a dark movie, so what do you expect? I loved it...some people thought it was too violent, but I expected it- everyone had gone nuts in the movie, because there was no hope for the future with no kids. Some people thought it didn't have much character development, either, but I disagree. It's a great story, about a man who goes from a depressed, drunken man who doesn't care about anything to a man who cares about the future so much that he is willing to give up everything to save it. I think you should see it if you can take violence and want an involving, well made movie that also has a good message- kids are gifts from God, and we should start treating them that way. See it!

I did not like it. It was extremely disturbing and the plot wasnt interesting at all.

I was so disturbed i had to leave. I know about the holocaust and about killing in Africa etc...but i have always viewed the US and Britain as "above" that ever happening.

It was disturbing to see such a civilized country deporting/torturing/killing their people. It was awful to see the people suffering and especially awful at the end when the army blew up the refugee camp or when the army came into the camp and started blowing up the building with all of the people in it.

It was too intense for such a weak plot. Sad.

I know that it was just a movie...but with all of the awful things happening in the world, the movie really hits close to home and it is scary that the civilized countries in the world might start acting like that.

That was the most disturbing movie I've seen in a long time. I went with a friend who wanted to see it. I hadn't even heard of the title of the film, let alone what it was about. Had I know ahead of time, I wouldn't have gone to see the movie.

It was well acted, though. And (unfortunately) seemed very realistic to me. Go see it if you like. I just know I left very disturbed and upset after seeing it.

Very good, VERY intense. If you like post-apocalyptic romps through believable disastrous possibilities underpinned by current events tinged with mythic proportions, and you don't mind machine-gun fire, then you will probably like this movie.

It was a lot better than I thought it would be. You may want to watch a trailer of it before you go see it.

I saw it on Friday. It's very good - not nearly as gloomy as reviews suggest. It is dark but not hopeless!

Saw it...
it's ok.
The plot is interesting, but not very well developed.
The sci fi/cultural aspect of it is overshadowed by the violence.
