That all depends on what kind of makeup you're wearing. If you happen to be wearing waterproof makeup then no, but if not it's just going to be washed off anyway so you might as well. Not only that, but if you're wearing regular mascara and it runs in the pool it can really cause your eyes to burn. Again, I'd wash it off first.

Remove your make-up before swimming! You don't want your face to look like it's been dipped in cake, and the pool filled with the rest!

it's probably better to remove it before. i was on the high school swim team this past fall...and i've seen girls with like..."raccoon" eyes (horribly smeared eyeliner and mascara)...not a flattering look.
the chemicals in make-up might have a funny reaction in ppol water too. and if you rub your eye or something...it might not be pleasent.
just to be safe, i'd take it off. waterproof or not.

Before would be best because of the chemicals in the water and in the make up can cause an infection in your eye.

Remove it before, make up running down your face looks awful, while you swim.

If you are going summing don't ever put make-up on and after ward you are don't put your make-up on . because when you go swimming with make-up on it runs and makes you look funny. or if you really want ou can try water proof

Before. Even waterproof make-up can break off or smear in water. It might even get in your eyes and give you an infection :(
