Sorry to hear that. You will need to give it enough rest and time to recover. If it is pretty bad - you need ro see a doctor. But make sure to give it enough rest before you dance again. It is weaker now and you might do a lot more damage if you don't give time to heal. After you recover, ask your teacher - explain how exactly did you hurt it, ask how to prevent it in the future. In general, you hurt your foot if it is not ready to accept your weight.
