I have auditions tomorrow and when i practice singing i sound decent....however when i recorded myself i sound like im straining my voice....please help

are you straining yourself when you are reaching for a note or when you are just siging regularly? If it is because you are reaching for a note try to switch it over to your falseto voice to make it sound pretty. Don't try to belt out those notes that you fell that you are straining at. Listen to yourself in the bathroom and listen to your echo. If you are straining when you are singing in your range again try to switch over to faseto. This will help smooth over your rough edges. Then there is always consuming tons of water and try the ever classic honey. If that doesn't work for you cunsult your music teacher and see if they can give you lessons.

Celine Dion makes it so the percentage of humidity is 55%..also drink lots of water so your voice is clearly heard and so you don't get a dry throat
