Buy a tuner first off. Tune the guitar to EADGBE if you want to play in standard tuning. As for the buzzing, it could be the saddles on the bridge. But since you are playin an RG you probably have a floyd rose tremolo in which case its a little more difficult to adjust. Other problems, you might not be pressing hard enough, and also strings buzz when they are new, they need to break in. If the buzz does not come out when you play it through the amp its probably no big deal. If the buzz is really bad, your fret might be too high and may need to be shaven down which means you need to take it to a guitar tech.

Buy a tuner or there are sites you can use to tune.
As for the rattling, you probably need to put your finger closer to the fret.
Or... you got bad strings.
Maybe you can get someone to string it for you, a professional if you're not.

your bridg may need adjusted. the string might be to close to the frets and interfering with the string vibration. if it is an eletrick rais the bridge by using the adjustment knobs, if its an acustic you may have to get a guitar tech to put in a new bridg. hope this help.

Take it to your local guitar shop and have it set up and remember to use the same gauge of strings each time after it is set up .
