Mine wasn't the best but could have been much worse. I turned out alright though.

Yes they did. All parents make mistakes. The only ones that I don't think should have kids are the ones that abuse them.

YES. They taught me respect. I learned never to talk back. I understood that if they didn't have money, I would still be loved. I was spanked when I did wrong. My dad died when I was 16. I didn't realize how much I needed him til then. Thus, I tried to raise my kids the same way. I'm proud of how they turned out!

Terrible. Scarred me for life, almost entirely by emotional and psychological abuse, very little physical abuse.
My first sponsor in the Adult Children of Alcoholics 12 step program told me after I told him my story that my parents could not have done a worse job of raising me, short of turning me into a serial killer.

I'm 15 years old and I have turn out fine I think because I belive your a product of your parents I like my parents for who they are and I don't mine to act that way when I have my kids but until that day comes I don't wanna grow up !

If you asked me this when I was still living with them I'd say no but I turned out to be a very good husband and an even better father so I'd say yes.

w/o a formal education on how to raise any child, most parents fail miserably. mine were no exception to this enigma either.

my parents didnt raise me i was raised by myself and my friends im still not sure what a normal family is like

I raised myself..so apparently not. All they did was try to buy their way into my life...it didn't work. I have a lot of emotional neglect(ness) to fix blah.
