The people of today's society are more afraid of consequences for their actions, and are less willing to break rules and become some sort of pariah even if it is the right thing.

that we give ppl who do that a name. rebels. in this book i just read, its called, ...i think...a question of loyalty. its really good. its about this guy who had his land robbed by the goverment, and now he thinks that they were wrong so, he goes up against the goverment to have his voice heard. i guess it kinda fits
