I'm looking to buy some markers to draw manga since I'v *finally* decided to work hard to learn. I was wondering what is recommended based on price and quality. Copic Sketch Markers seem to favored but they are a bit expensive...are they really worth it? Any other material I may need would be nice too.

My husband uses the Copic markers and really likes them. They are expensive so he builds on his sets for birthdays and Christmas. He considers them an Industry standard.

Well, like you mentioned, there's Copic. They are expensive though. I guess Prismcolor might work, but I never tried those and those aren't that much better in price. It's like 80 bucks for a set of 24 I think. I don't use markers much, so I don't know much in that area. Sorry if that doesn't help much.
