It was a huge fumble and if not the biggest, one of the biggest in the last few years. That guy will never live that footage down, it was hilarious!!! And, he was crying on the field, gimmie a break! Glad they lost.

Not even close.

How about the play back in the 70s where the Giants only had to kneel on the ball to win, but decided to run a play, only to fumble the ball and have Herm Edwards (yes, Herm Edwards) run it like 70 yards for a TD?

Or the kicker for Miami nearly screwing up a perfect season by trying to throw the ball? Had the Dolphins lost that game, there would have been a dead Greek guy that day.

Why limit it to the NFL. Biggest botch job in FOOTBALL history was whoever set up the Georgia Tech-Cumberland game back in 1916. The score was 63-0.....AFTER THE FIRST QUARTER Final was TWO HUNDRED TWENTY TWO to NOTHING. Yes, 222. To zero. That's a botch job. What Romo did yesterday was peanuts compared to that lol.

get over it all the Romo haters are jealous they just wish they could be him the whole playoff choker thing is bs he has only played in 2 playoff games ever the Seattle thing is blown way out of proportion there was still 1:22 left in the game and Dallas defense was playing like crap the Seahawks would probably have got at least a field goal at the end anyway Romo is a excellent quarterback I wanted them to start him 2 years before they did he will win in the playoffs in fact he will probably be Super Bowl MVP this year if you want to talk overrated qb's look no further than McNabb or Eli I'll take Romo over them any day

Romo made a botched hold into a fighting chance to win by trying to run it in for a TD. Romo has alot of poise and courage, I think this season has made him the perfect Starting QB for the Cowboys next year, he will be much better, and seasoned enough where he won't make as many mistakes.

Further more, Your critisim is unsportsman like and uncalled for, wether or not you like the Cowboys.

It was bad but I say no. The worst was the Houston Oilers losing to Buffalo Bills in round 1 of the playoffs in 1992. Oilers were up 35 - 3 in the 3rd quarter.

No, not even close.

I totally agree with maximus, I think your being very unsporstman like too. It's just a game, quit making such a big deal about it.

No. I think eveyone is making too big a deal about it. Let the poor guy alone. What about all the missed interceptions, faumbles, dropped passes that got them to the point where they needed that field goal???

Loved that missed field goal last year...muah! :)

It was pretty bad but to me it still wasn't as bad as Vanderjagt missing last year to tie the game. The most accurate kicker in NFL history at that point and he beyond shanked it.

definitely, he's just supposed to make the ball stand up

i'm sure he did it once as a kid in a game of touch football

WHAT THE HELL

at least make it to the endzone with the ball if you're gonna fake out

why was he the holder anyway?!
