I did. I don't think it will hurt you it is just easier to insert when you are on. You aren't supposed to leave them in when you are not on your period because of the fibers.

You could leave it in for a few hours if you wanted. Read the label in the box about Toxic Shock Syndrome. This occurs when you leave a tampon in for too long (I think it's more than 8 hours, but I'm not sure). I am on the pill and don't use condoms since my partner and I are both disease-free and have been together for five years (I am 22). Sometimes after sex, I put in a tampon so I don't have semen leaking out into my underwear for the next hour or so.

Yeah, it's fine to practice. A good idea actually. It can be pretty uncomfortable pulling out a dry tampon, so I would either leave it in for a while, or don't practice too much.

Girl, you will have to use them for the rest of your life, why would you want to prolong it? Its not like its an art to using a tampon and you have to have it perfect. When it starts you will wish it waited a little longer. Most importantly read the directions, why? TSS is why. Real Talk

You can. It really won't hurt you. It's just sanity cotton. It might be painful to take out though if the tampon isn't wet. Once you get your period, you'll love tampons. They are so convenient and comfortable.

I wouldn't recommend it, but I don't see it doing anything bad.

No. You should never use a tampon when not on a regular flow. So if you haven't started your period yet, don't try! Tell your friends that also. If you don't have a flow it can be painful when inserting and taking it out. But when you do start you'll know how to use one!

No! Don't do that. First of all, tampons go in easiest if you have a flow because it acts as lubrication.

NOT OK!!

It will absorb all the good fluids inside your vagina. DO NOT TRY IT. If you are waiting for your period to come and don't want to leak, use a pad.
