A good trick for telling whether something was copy/pasted or actually typed out with loving care is to look at its position in the list of answers. If its a gigantic amount of text up closer to the top, it was probably just cut from somewhere else. If its position reflects its wordage, the person probably typed it.

There are many questions that get asked a lot. The power answer guys probably keep a file with pre-made answers to paste into the answer box.

Not that mine are brilliant, but sometimes they are long, and for the record, I never copy and paste. That's a cop-out.

There are times that I feel it best to provide a weblink, but I usually indicate that in my response, so the credit doesn't go to me.

lol.....................Believe me, it's not a program. Because to me some of the questions being asked others can personally relate to it or have background knowledge of a situation like it. So all they do is express it to the best of their power and i guess thats what makes it so brilliant.

My answers are usually long, but I don't cut and paste (when I do, I always give credit). I guess it depends on how much factual information I saw...it's one thing if you see a long answer to a love-stricken question, another thing entirely to see a long answer to a trivia question.

i doubt there's a program, but my guess is somebody copies and pastes from the internet. or takes five million years typing it out cause they think they're gonna get ten points.
