Based on information as to the density of those 2 metals the iron cube would be 2.94 times heavier.

I used http://www.simetric.co.uk/si_metals.htm as my source for the density figures. The measurements are in Kg per cubic meter. But that isn't important. I just divided the figure for iron by the figure for aluminium to come up with the ratio. I used 2600 for Aluminium and 7850 for the iron. Of course these figures are approximate as the densities of these metals can vary a little.

The density of iron is 7.87 gm/cm3 and the density of aluminum is 2.7 gm/cm3 - I looked this up on the internet. Can you solve this problem now?
