Yes but I doubt that it's good for it considering the fact that it will clog your pores. It wouldn’t be bad if you're just using it on small areas though. like dry patches or a small scar or something but I wouldn’t use it all over your face. ''not2nite'' is right but it's also globby and hard to get off, if your asking about it for the purpose of removing eye make-up, use baby oil. Petrouleum jelly is great for your lips though, I actually just put some on lol

Yes, of course you CAN - but as the others have stated, be prepared to deal with blocked pores!!! If the reason you are asking is because you have a problem with dry skin, try a very lightweight cocoa butter cream - I have combination skin, oily on the T-zone and very very dry cheeks, neck, etc; the only product I can use on my face without having other problems is Nadinola Cocoa Butter Cream, I get mine at Fred's (southern, smaller version of WalMart) but have also seen it at Walgreen's, would expect that WalMart, Target, etc. carry it as well. It is easiest to find if you will look in the ethnic skin/haircare products section.

yes! you can use it to add shine to your cheeks or w/e without it coming off easily. Just make sure it doesn't get anywhere NEAR your hair. I lit my hair on fire that way...but other than that...it should work.

People put petrouleum jelly on their lips for chapped lips...so its safe.

I've never tried it before, but if you are using a bottle/tub that says non-comodegenic then it won't clog pores. My friend uses it on her face every day and she claims that it reduces her acne. It's good for moisturizing, though, either way. I used to think that since petroleum was an oil, it would clog my pores and I am still not sure of this information. According to my abovementioned friend though, it doesn't.

Hope I helped!

I know it cloggs pores, I tried it once just to see wha happened and since I have acne prone skin it made it worse instantly. I recomend it only for lips or as an 'around the eyes' mask. It helps give elasticity to skin that is thinner.

I am sure you are capable of putting it on your face but it will clog your pores and it is pretty challenging to get off. If you need to put it on your face to make a mask or something like that I would try using dish soap to get it off.

I wouldn't, Petroleum Jelly is a oil by product not very nice for your skin.

only if you are going for a pimply-look. petroleum jelly is comodogenic (proe clogging) plus its heavy and made out of petroleum (it's what they take out of thick crude oil to make gasoline thin). i try not to smear anything flammable and bad for the environment on my face or body.

ditto for vaseline.........

Only if you want a face full of zits! Use a makeup remover if that's what you're trying to do.

Yes, i guess if your face tends to be very dry. But not during the day! Don't use it alot! It can cause pimples if used wrong....
