I need to layer text over a picture. What program can I easily do that with? Is it possible to do that in MS Word? Is it possible in the Paint program? I need to layer the text so that image shows under the text. What are the steps and with which program?

Agreed....... Paint Program, comes with windows, in your accessories file.

Go to start , then accessories, and paint

You can do it with MS word and the Paint program.

Okay go to Paint. Then select ur picture and then click the bold A letter in your tool box and the click - hold- and drag ur mouse over the spot u want it and a box should appear and then u type.

You need to use Paint Shop Pro or Paint Shop (Adobe) to be able to lower the opicity on the text you put over the photo.

open paint
go to file and open your pic then you click on the A button

then at the bottom of the tool bar there ar 2 boxes clik on the bottom one

then size you box and type

You can do it in paint but I suggest a real graphics program like photoshp or illustrator.

But yeah MSPaint.
