Depends - on apples and oranges I take it off. But for everything else, I leave it on.

I always eat the skins if they're edible. That's where alot of the antioxidants and other good things are. Sometimes I even eat a bit of the orange peel. It has alot of flavonoids in it.

Did you know that most of the vitamins of an orange come form the peel? it tastes gross but every once in a while i'll eat an orange with the peel...also grapefruits

I leave on and eat most of the skins but will usually take off most
of the rind on a orange and grapefruit. banana I peel of course.

Peaches and apricots - skin on
Apples, pears - skin off
Oranges - skin off, except I usually eat a piece of the skin
