To symbolize scout, you could use a pair of overalls, because she is such a tomboy, a piece of her broken ham costume, or a pair of someone else's shoes, because she learned to "walk around in them"
Her name "Scout" is important, a "scout" is someone who explores and learns.
Last name "Finch", a finch is a bird, which, like a mockingbird, is non-invasive and really cute. They also act curious.

Duh. Scout is the representation of innocence lost. She transforms from an uncaring and naive child to an understanding, wise, and considerate person.
