Hi, Kitty,
You are going through what students have gone through forever, so you are not alone, and you will get through it. I'm glad you are taking a little break from the studying right now. And try to relax for a few minutes and take a few deep breaths and get a perspective on this. Get yourself a snack and a drink of water or juice or coffee, and maybe go for a short walk to clear your head. Eat a peppermint candy or drink peppermint tea - the peppermint tends to make you more alert.
If you already have a B- in your biology, you do understand some of it. You may not understand all of it, and you can't get to that point between now and Tuesday, but I think you probably will understand enough to do ok. Can you arrange a study group for biology for tomorrow? That might help. Or talk to another student about it tomorrow and get ideas about what you should focus on for study tomorrow night. Pay particular attention to topics the teacher really focused on.
Since your finals don't start until Thursday you still have a few days to focus on them. Get a goodnight's sleep before each of your tests. Make sure you eat breakfast each of those days. Answer every question even if you are not certain. Take a guess. Don't leave blanks - educated guesses are usually better than blank paper and usually get at least a few marks.
Take a few minutes and browse through these links I have included. There are numerous similar sites that will help you develop study skills, organizational skills and so on, but start with these for now and use some of the ideas over the next week and use them throughout the next term so that you won't feel so pressured when exam time rolls around again.
Best of luck with the exams. Don't stay up all night studying. Being well rested for each exam will be best.

Take a deep breath and calm down. Just think, you have a B in the class, you do understand this stuff. You've done this well so far, you can do it. Look back through your notes and book and think of the labs you've done.
First of all, you need to clear your head. You need to try to get the bigger picture of the whole class. You still have all evening and all day tomorrow to get yourself prepared for this test.
Do you have anything that will help you study? A study guide, an idea of what will be on the test? Is there anybody in the class that would be willing to study with you?
Take it all one step at a time. Think of the major points you've learned throughout the class and the minor points that support them.
Now, you definitely don't want to neglect studying for those other finals either. Make sure to spend ample time studying for those too. Manage your time how you see fit.
Then make sure you get a good night's rest before each day of tests. Don't forget those balanced meals either! =D
You'll do fine, you just need to calm down, you seem like a very bright student.

If you don't understand it.....I have two options for you, ask your roommate(depending if your dorming) or someone in school who is really good in Biology. Cause believe me, it's the students that know it that can explain it to the best of their ability until you get it. My other option is to type in the specific question that your not understanding into googles and see how best you understand it from there. (well i use to do that with some math problems)
P.S. If you Stop studying for Bio...........that means your settling for something less than a B- since this is a final. So try to study a little more with some more sources around you, and then when Tuesday comes focus on the finals for Thursday.

Okay. First of all, you need to call or email your teacher right now.
You need to tell him/her that you don't understand the material, you need help, you're nervous. You also sound like you have a bit of test anxiety.
Calling your teacher will only help if you've been a good student. If you've been goofing off in class, not paying attention, or anything such, your teacher won't care because its not their fault you don't get the material.
Then you need to keep studying, but make sure you take ten minute breaks every half hour. Don't study the night before the test, but DO study the lunch of the day BEFORE the test. Just don't study that night.
And relax before you go in.

Take a deep breath!!!!. Ive been there. When you study, you should take small breaks every 1/2 hour. Make a cup of tea, do jumping jacks, go for a walk.....anything that will help you hit that "refresh" button. The best way to handle this is make a list of what you already know. Its probably more than you think. And just review. Perhaps its time to stop for now, and go back. You will do fine!!

Well, you have to think about your priorities. What is more important to you? Personally, what I would do is ask people in my calss for help in biology. Maybey have a study group. study at least a little bit. A 50% is better than a 0%. Then, study for your finals.
Next time,
I recomed studying for finals ahead of time. That way, not everything piles up.

study early in the day til noon then break they say that late late night has no enhancement like the early morning til noon does, also they say u gotta take>> protein allot<< in the morning for breakfast to energize and make a positive effect on your self in the morning too. remember to try harder than you want to break free, the system is hard to super use, c if you are going for the cna thing you have to pass if you get a D for a final on the year your going to have to do the year over so that should make u buckle down and go for it cause the bucks have to be paid all over again if you don't get at least a c and move on the next year.

Hey, hey deep breaths that's all you gotta do. Trust me you'll do better if you DON'T stress out about finals. You just naturally do better if you are calm and relaxed. A B isn't a bad grade, if you learned it then odds are you're going to remember the answer on the final when you see it. Plus aren't most finals mostly multiple choice? You'll be fine, just don't stress yourself out.~LOVE

You don't have to know it as long as you memorized it for the test.Study for both.Do 30 Min's. each, bio, then finals, then bio,and so on.Then on Tues,if you remember at lease one thing on the test, then you studied. After that, just hope for the best on your bio. then study for your finals, again and do the same thing.Oh and, good luck on both of the test.
