I have 105 GB and have wireless highspeed internet service. I don't have a lot of files store on the comp as I've had several surgeries since I've gotten it and haven't really started to work yet. I've been surfing the web and doing research but I have a lot of freezing up especially when trying to click on a link within a website.

Thsi question needs a lot more info. How much Ram do you have. What do you use for Internet, What program are you using and what requirements does it need. If your using dial-up, Well There you go. Dell usually ship with the bare minimun RAM unless you ask for more. Just because your computer is new doesn't maen that its ready for the internet, Just that its ready to turn on and say Welcome. If you have XP and less than 512mb of RAM start with that. Since your doing Music I truly reccomend 1 gb. Hopefully you have a decent video card.

You need to check the Dell ( http://www.Dell.com ) website for updates pertaining to your hard drive and/or your memory. Generally speaking every so often they release an update that will increase the performance of your PC as a whole. You should also periodically go into your system tools and defrag your PC and run a scandisk to check for any errors in your hard drive.

Try returning it or switching it for another one. Or maybe you need to install pop-up and virus blocker. It might be freezing because too much pop-ups and/or viruses keep coming up.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
