ch78, do you honestly think I care if I misspell a word? Does it make you feel better, now that you've called someone stupid?

Seriously?????

You need to try harder. Good stories don't just happen--they are the result of a lot of hard work and numerous revisions.

Start with a solid character, write down this character's physical and emotional details--remember to give him or her conflicting character traits. Then put the character in an unlikely situation--something interesting should happen.

Good luck.

When writing fiction, you have to plan out what your plot is, who the characters are, how they relate to each other, and if there's any overall lesson to be learned from the story. For good examples of short stories I suggest you find a copy of Norton's Anthology of Short Fiction which contains some of the best short stories ever written.

The farm animals found shelter under the barn
And folks cozy up under the covers to stay warm

It's "plagiarized", not "plagerized". If you studied more, and relied on internet answers less, you'd know that. You're just making youself more and more stupid by asking for help. And on Yahoo answers of all places...

No self-respecting writer would let anyone take their work. I know I wouldn't. Tell your teacher that you couldn't handle the workload and face the consequences.
