If it ran well before the belt broke, the new belt was probably reinstalled out of time. Re-check the valve timing and make sure the marks were lined up properly. It is hard to get the slack out of the belt on the opposite side of the tensioner without turning the cam one notch off.
Chrysler engines are non-interference, not to be confused with Ford which are interference engines.

You are either off on your timing, or you left off a vacuum line or two.

There are two classifications for timing belt driven engines. There are interference and non-interference engines. A non-interference engine has enough clearance between between the pistons and valves that if the timing belt breaks, the valves can not hit the pistons. The two belt driven engines used in that van are both non-interference. You did not bend a valve.
An example of an interference engine would be in something like a Honda. But even in that case, just because the valves can hit the pistons doesn't mean they did. In my experience I get lucky about half the time with these, or actually, my customers do.

Since it was running before, the belt was replaced, and not after, I would double check the valve timing. If it is one notch off the engine will not run. Make very sure the marks are in the proper location when tightening the belt and they don't move.

on any ohc or dohc engines if the timing belt broke while driving the car you have a 70% chance that you have bent a numerous amount of valves in the process. If you tried to restart or turn the motor over after the motor turned off you have a 98% chance that you have just bent numerous valves. either way on these type of engines "preventive maintainance" is key from avoiding things like this.

is it noisy?
if that was done by a mechanic,is on warranty.
if You did it check for loose hoses or fitting relate ot intake manifold.
if is noisy...valve may be bend.
