I do not watch alot of football, but enough of it to have had the revelation that I have never seen anything but Ivy League looking white guys as the quarterback. Whats the deal with that? Are there any, or has there been any? This may be an odd question, but some serious answers from people who are football fanatics would be greatly appreciated.

Although the position is dominted by whites there are number of black quarterbacks in the NFL. and even more in college.

Charlie Batch
Daunte Culpepper
Vince Young
Byron Leftwich
David Garrard
Tavarius Jackson
Jason Cambell
Donovan Mcnabb
Michael Vick
These are all the ones I can think of.

There are plenty of Black QB's. Hiesman winner Troy Smith, his oppenent Chris Leak. There are many black NFL QB's as well. Some examples are Vince Young, Steve McNair, Michael Vick, Donovan McNabb, Aaron Brooks, and Daunte Culpepper. There was also Hall of Famer Warren Moon and former MVP Randall Cunningham.
There are rising number of black quarterbacks.

Donovan Mcnabb, Michael Vick, Vince Young,Daunte Culpepper,Steve Mcnair,Byron Leftwich AND David Garrard(same team as leftwich), those are the current players...
theres only 1 Black HOF qb and he was class of 2006, Warren Moon.

Michael Vick is black, Donovan Mcnabb, Vince young, Kordell stewart, Steve Mcnair they are all black and no there isnt as many black quarterbacks as there is white.

I am no expert, but there are many black quarterbacks in the NHL. Steve McNair, Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Dante Culpepper are four. Randell Cunningham was a great one for years, known most for his running skills but also passed for thousands of yards.

Because there are very few in the league .
And alot of good QB's are white because this year McNabb was injured and Vick sucks.
Vince Young is in the news but hey white people dominate the QB class

um.. okay 2 quarterbacks that I think everyone has heard of are Donavan McNabb and Michael Vick ... both Black!
