Some younger people call sexing all night, banging out. Then he could have meant hanging out with him. You really can't do much of anything until you ask him to clarify what he means. Couples are supposed to be able to communicate with each other, so improve your communication with him first. Then if you want further information please come back at any time.

Depending on the context, "bang out" can mean a few things.
