My baby has been with the stomach flu since Friday night. He threw up 3 times yesterday and had diarrhea 3 times. Today he threw up 2 times and diarrhea 1 time. I already took him to the Dr. He is currently taking 2 tbsps of Pedialyte every 5 to 15 minutes. He is getting lots of rest. I check his temperature constantly. Im also switching to Soy formula which I will be giving him about an ounce every 4 hours.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

If the baby has already seen a doctor, that's about all you can do. Wait it out. But, in a day or so if he is still sick, i would get him back to the doc. Watch closely for dehydration. In the meantime, expect to give him lots of attention. Im sure he will insist on that.

My son was about 3 months when we both caught a horrible stomach flu. Any formula he had would come right back up and if it didn't he would have bad diarrhea. I called my Dr. and she just told me to give him pedialyte and to keep giving him his bottle. He got over it in 2 days...I had it for a week! LOL!

It sounds like you're doing great. All us mommies have been there. Just get as much fluids as you can into him, a tiny bit at a time and let him rest. If his temp goes to high get on the phone to the Dr right away. Other than that, lots of cuddling.

Don't put anything in his stomach (ESPECIALLY SOYMILK!!) and go see a doc FAST!! He sounds dehydrated, tho...
While you're at it, get off of Yahoo!Answers and tend to your ailing child...(lol) but really.
