my girlfriend told me that when she got pregnant the first time she used to get mad just for anything and she used hate her ex and had moody attitude.

when you first become pregnant-symptoms dont show up for a while.
pregnancy is different for everyone though-you may get everything or you may only get the frequent peeing
you get morning sickness about 4-6 weeks into it.
your second trimester brings the frequent peeing & insane hunger
third brings out the moodiness beast, lol-along with frequent aches and pains in spots you didnt know existed.

Every pregnancy is different in every woman. Mood swings usually dont come right away. Irritability is common proably around 10 weeks but that usually subsides very quickly. Chances are high that your girlfriend could be going through a form a depression caused from pregnancy and just not be feeling well. swollen and tender, tingling breast, missed period or scanty period (with very light pink blood), fatigue extreme (like a washed out feeling, not feeling like getting out of bed, nausea but not extreme, sometimes uneasy to eat greasy or smell greasy foods, cravings of fruity things. There are just so many side effects but every girl is different. Good Luck.
