i bought a new 4 gig ipod nano. i previously owned a two gig. it was the first version of the nano. because i already had an ipod i have itunes version 6 on my computer.(a pc) however my new ipod requires version 7 or later... it wont download. i went to apple.com and typed my email into the space and hit download but nothing happens. help?

if i was supposed to recieve an email i did not. it isnt under spam and i know im entering the right email.

well when u first have a 2 gig which i have u plugged it in RIGHT! try that and maybe u can name it and do what u did with the 1st one i kno u can i willl ask my freinds 4 u!

Then you can get the software or just download Version 7 or any later. Then it will work. Good Luck!!

Wow this happened to me too. Hmm wut did i do. Mayb it is your pop up blocker. Cause something pops up and asks u whether or not u want to run the program. Try pressing control right b4 u click 'ok.' I know for sure u dont have to pay for it

Im guessing u have to go to ur email and click ont he link that they sent u form itunes..... ITS JUST A WILD GUESS

hon, you'll first have to pay for it i fear. go to apple site and browse around d-loads till you see the page that applies and you may have to give them your ipod serial # so have it ready.or call the
applecare # that came with your ipod.
