No. I should. I have no legitimate reason not to.

My non-legitimate reasons "not to" are:

> Hard enough to get trash off the floor and in the trash can- now you want me to separate it?

>A broken garden hose and other trash are in my city-issued recycle bin. I have to clean it out first.

>I don't have a good place to keep the bin. I have a very small kitchen, and my trash can already takes up too much space. I have to move it every time I want to open the fridge.

I have learned along time ago that I will easily not do a thing if it's too inconvenient or too laborious.

I have only found that if it is something I NEED to do, I need to do it "My way"
I could not consistently exercise because according to the experts that I read, I wasn't "doing it right". If I wasn't doing it right, why should I do it at all?

Now I am on the treadmill 3 times a week.
Is this "perfect"
No.

It is either the 3 times a week, or nothing at all.

Should I recycle? Yes! Can I recycle perfectly? No.

I will give up if I try.

Perhaps a little recycling is better then no recycling at all.
So I put to you- what is the minimum?
What is the minimum that I should do?

No, because I have to drive 125 miles to get to the nearest place I can recycle. Every once in a while they have special drives in town and when they do, I give them all the paper I can find. It's the only kind of drive they ever have. No glass or plastic. Just paper.

You bet!!! Can't stand the thought of not being able to recycle things like newspaper or boxes or anything of that sort instead of throwing it all the garbage.

Yes. As much as possible goes into my recycling tubs. It saves on garbage bags too.
