I'll help you on this one...

x^-5w^3/w^2z^-2
= x^-5w/z^-2 (not sure if you're talking about (x^-5)(w^3))
= wz^2/x^5

What i might want to do first, is in each equation, sparkling the fractions by multiply the full equation by the least instantly ahead denominator. x/3 + y/4 = 2 i am going to multiply by 12. 4x + 3y = 24 2x/3 - y/2 = 0 i am going to multiply by 6 4x - 3y = 0 Now you've 2 equations. 4x + 3y = 24 4x - 3y = 0 note that you do not favor to multiply those by anyhting.. the y's cancel out. upload both equations and get: 8x = 24 x = 3 Now change this lower back in: 4x - 3y = 0 4(3) - 3y = 0 12 = 3y 4 = y the answer is (3 , 4). wish that permits!

x^-3w^2/z

You can take away w^2 from both sides, which cancels out the w^2 in the denominator and makes the w^3 be just w. And I think you can square both sides to make the z^-2 just z and the x^-5 be x^-3. But, then the w becomes w^2. I could be wrong, but that's what I would do. =)
