Hi pinepienaar,

I'm sorry, but what is the big thing about peer-to-peer? Aren't you open to being hacked by doing this? Why would you want to do this?

Have you tried Telnet in your Mac's terminal? Actually the Mac OS X uses SSH (secure shell) for its telnetting. You can also get a FTP program that might do the same thing. Transport can work very close to like being connected directly to another computer.

You also might check out the Network Utility application that is inside your Utilities folder (that's inside of your Applications folder). This might be able to give you the information that you need to connect peer-to-peer.

Best of luck to you.
