Implantation bleeding or early period?

I'm not due to start my next period for another week and today I have had some light bleeding/spotting. The last time I had sex was about 6 days ago and I DID forget to take my bc pill. Could it be implantation bleeding or an early period?

Forgetting a pill that late in the cycle could be the source of your spotting. But it could also be implantation bleeding too. It's impossible to tell at this point. It would be wise for you to take a pregnancy test, but it won't be accurate until the day you expect to get your period. Use first morning urine for best results.
