How do you make someone trust you that has no reason to?

I'm with a wonderful man who puts all the faith in me he possibly can. I know for a fact that I would never hurt him but he has his doubts about me leaving for my ex. what can I do to help him trust me?

How do you make someone trust you(that has no reason to). Ok, you must have gave him a reason. I think your playing with his head. I think you intentionally try to make him jealous of the ex, so why should he trust you. I think you like to play games. You need to stop all the head games and playing games, then he might learn to trust you.

First of all, you can't make someone do anything. You can help somone to trust you, by always being honest. Trust is a major "roll" if you would, within a relationship. Only time will tell. He'll know within himself, that you can be trusted and it will reflect from him, that he trusts you. Don't talk about your ex to him and just continue to tell him how much you care for him and he'll eventually see that what you are telling him is true. He sounds like he has been burnt before by someone he loved and trusted. If so, give him time to see that you are not like his old mate.
