ok, I have a problem I have been trying to simplify, I THINK I have the answer, but I am not sure. Could you please simplify this? Thank you1

Do you mean x.5w.3/w.2z.2 ? I can't tell from your notation; is the 3/w a fraction? if so it would be ...oops, I forgot how to do this... there is a real good book; go to a University or college bookstore & buy a math basics book...I know there's a real good one...
it simiplifies everything & gives you the answers, so you know you get it right...

x^5w³ divided by w²z²
Thus,
Simplify:
x^5 : 1 = x^5
w³ : w² = w³-² = w¹ or w
1 : z² = 1/z²
Solution:
x^5w over z²

(x^5)(w^3) / [(w^2)(z^2)
= (x^5)(w^(3-2)) / z^2
= (x^5)(w) / z^2
