can someone proof read my science fair projects purpose? My project is on water and bacteria, what i did was i put 3 bottles of water into a freezer, refridgerator and in room temperature for 24 hours, then i tested to see which water was most purified, the one in the freezer, the one in the refridgerator or the one in room temperature.( The purpose of my experiment was to inform consumers about the water they drink, and the safety of their water’s environment. ) < was that a good purpose?

take the comma between "drink" and "and" out.

"Their water's environment?" Reword that, it sounds weird. Maybe simply "their environment" would work because it's pretty obvious that wherever they put their water (freezer, fridge, or none) is going to be the water's environment.

It also might sound nicer if you said, "the reason I performed this experiment was to..." instead of "the purpose of my experiment was to..."

Hope that helps.

Your purpose sounds ok but I dont see how changing the temperature of the water is going to change its purity. If you want to do purity I am sure you can get an inexpensive test kit and then you can test for chemicals in water that come from different sources.
