Why do so many people choose to ignore my mum's advice?
Especially on Yahoo Answers...?

Disagreeing with someone is not being mean to them. A lot of people on here don't understand that concept. I have a lot of close friends who I disagree with regularly, be are mature enough that it doesn't get in the way of our friendship.
